About me and my bike....
Well, as you can probably guess from this site I am into my bikes!
My name is Phil Walklett but I was given the nickname of "the Funkster" back in my day when I was a DJ, this is going back around 18 years now but the name has stuck, BUT as I get older I kinda try to not promote this name as it suite a younger person and not an old fart like me!
BUT, there is one passion in my life apart from my family which is my bikes, I love the look and speed these things have to offer, I currently ride a Kawasaki ZX9R-E1 the one in the picture above which I absolutely love and am currently re-building it through the winter! I also love the British Superbikes, World Superbikes and of course MotoGP!
The rider I follow religiously is British Superbike Champion 2009 - Leon Camier well done mate!
I try to go to as many meetings as I can through out the calendar year, my dream would be to take my ZX9R around the Isle of Mann TT Course, I guess this dream is one that all bikers would love to do!
